Ryan attended American University Washington College of Law beginning in 2010, was a member of the American University Law Review, and graduated with honors. While in law school, Ryan began interning as a law clerk for Pikrallidas & Associates in the summer of 2011, and joined the firm as an associate upon passing the Virginia bar exam in October of 2013.
At Pikrallidas & Associates, Ryan’s practice has been focused on civil litigation, with an emphasis on personal injury and commercial litigation. Ryan is a member of the Virginia Bar Association, Fairfax Bar Association, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. He enjoys working closely with clients and looks forward to the unique challenges that each case brings to his table.
Ryan has successfully litigated many types of civil and criminal cases. He regularly represents plaintiff’s seeking to recover for their injuries resulting from car accidents, falling merchandise, and the negligent maintenance of premises. He has also successfully litigated many types of contract and leases disputes, and represented contractors in Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation proceedings.
Ryan has also excelled in his motions practice. He regularly briefs and argues discovery and substantive motions in the cases he handles. Significantly, he was co-counsel on a personal injury case against a large American home supply company in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Alexandria Division. The case settled favorably after Ryan defeated a motion to dismiss the punitive damages cause of action and defeated a protective order seeking to limit the scope of discovery.
In his free time, Ryan enjoys playing tennis, lifting weights, and debating current events and the law with anyone who will listen.
