Even though I never got chance to hire Mr. Pikrallidas, I wish I had. he was the best attorney I ever came in contact with. Again even though I never retained him, he was more responsive to my panic questions and queries than my own attorney. After five years of various court proceedings I was exhausted and too far into my trail to switch attorneys. Demetry is a great Personal Injury attorney but if you ever have a criminal matter or traffic, he is the attorney you need to call. Demetry is smart and aggressive and does not back down. I had an accident caused by faulty brakes that cause me to hit the back of a vehicle. The state tried to hit me with a reckless anyway. I have no record, and have never even been to a trial. Having a security clearance and a job requiring that clearance, the last thing I needed was a misdemeanor on my record, but just as importantly, I needed to show the truth that I was recently sold a used car less than 2 months before the accident, that had already been taken back to the dealer for weird brake issues and noises, that manifested again the night of the accident. That's where Mr. Pikrallidas came in. At the first court date, the state offered a reduced charge improper driving which still carried a hefty fine and points off my license, but again, there was no improper driving. So, based on Mr. Pikrallidas advice, I did not accept the state's offer and would go back to court a few months later. After I gathered my paperwork showing the brake issues the dealer failed to fix, Mr. Pikrallidas hired a certified mechanic to verify that a component of the braking system had indeed failed, and I was not at fault in the accident. Based on this evidence, the mechanics testimony, and Mr. Pikrallidas face to face discussion with the prosecutor, the state reduced the charge to operating faulty equipment, which carried a very small fine, and no points off my license. Mr. Pikrallidas will be my go to lawyer for any (hopefully rarely) future legal issues.
